I study and teach bioinformatics applied to environmental genomics.
I leverage computational biology tools to investigate microbes, mostly marine plankton as well as viruses (large DNA viruses, and since 2020 coronaviruses).
My mother tongues are both English & French.
Teaching
My favorite teaching method is hands-on problem solving using real research data, as implemented in the Annotathon e-learning platform, offering bioinformatics training to life science students worldwide since 2005.
